Rasha Mekky has over 25 years of experience in Child Development, Child Assessment, and Positive Discipline. Her journey began ten years ago with the Kafala of her son Mostafa, which inspired her to launch Yalla Kafala. In 2015, Rasha also established Little Pharaohs daycare in the San Francisco Bay Area.

VICE PRESIDENT

Safaa Ibrahim is a visionary leader with 20+ years in community organizing and nonprofit development. She has led six nonprofits, advancing strategy, governance, and community mobilization. Formerly a tech project manager, she shifted to civic causes out of a passion for service. Safaa now serves as the inaugural Vice President of Yalla Kafala's USA Board and has held leadership roles at CAIR, GiveLight, Averroes Institute, and co-founded the American Muslim Community Foundation.
